FAMILY LIFE
Felix Mendelssohn was born on February 3, 1809 in Hamburg, Germany.
His mother was Leah Salomon and his father was Abraham Mendelssohn.
His family was very intelligent.
He had three siblings: Fanny, Rebecka, and Paul.
He was the grandson of philosopher Moses Mendelssohn.
His wife was Cecili Charlotte Sophie Jeanrenaud. He married her on March 28, 1837.
He had five children.
Mendelssohn died on November 4, 1847 in Leipzig, Germany.

MUSICAL LIFE
In 1819, Mendelssohn joined Singkademie music academy.
He became a conductor in 1829.
Mendelssohn founded Leipzig Conservatory of Music.
His works include Wedding March, Italian Symphony, Overture to "A Midsummer Night's Dream, Scottish Symphony, and Piano Concerto No. 2 in D Minor
