PRESENTATION OUTLINE

JESUS IN GENESIS?

BUT, I THOUGHT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT CREATION?

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (Genesis 3:15 KJV)

Of being an enemy
The opposite of friendship

Satan is a fallen angel created by God who represents all that is sinful and opposite to what pleases God. (John 8:44)Jesus spoke with unbelieving Pharisees.

The woman's seed:(Isaiah 7:14) tells us that God had a plan already to bring a Savior into the world through a family that started with Adam and Eve.

IT SHALL BRUISE THY HEAD

  • "It" is a direct reference to Jesus
  • Bruise means crush or defeat
  • Romans 16:20 is a good explanation
  • Satan would be forever defeated
  • The plan of salvation can begin to be understood!

Was satan actually a snake?

"AND THOU SHALT BRUISE HIS HEEL"

  • A bruise always heals
  • It's not permanent
  • Jesus endured the cross for you and I
  • He defeated satan, sin, hell, death and the grave
  • Satan will cause pain and suffering in this world but Jesus has the victory!

NEXT STEPS: DO I KNOW IF IM SAVED?

  • Have you agreed with God that you are indeed a sinner, like an arrow missing the bullseye (Romans 3:23)
  • Our sin carries a great punishment, that is, when we die our soul goes to Hell, separate from God(Romans 6:23)
  • Nothing WE do will ever TAKE AWAY our punishment (Ephesians 2:8,9) Heaven is perfect
  • Do you trust that Jesus being God in human flesh, lived a perfect sinless life, died on the cross in your place,
  • Was buried, spent 3 days in hell, rose from the grave and went back to Heaven (Romans5:8)

YOU CAN LEAVE HERE TODAY WITH ETERNAL LIFE

  • John 3:16 is a simply wonderful verse about Gods promise for us.
  • You can never lose something you didn't earn (1John 5:13)
