Battle of little big horn

Who was involved
Native side: Lakota, Dakota, Blackfoot Dakota, Northern Cheyenne, Arapho. Against the U.S. Army.

What happened
George Custer demanded that his troops kill every men in these tribes.

Where it happened
It happened near Little Big Horn river in eastern Montana.

When it happened
It happened on June 25-26 , 1876.

Why it happened
They were fighting over a part of the Great Plains.

How it effected Native's
It gave the natives a confidence boost which is what later caused more battles.
