POSSIBLE COMPLICATIONS

  • Miscarriages
  • Chromosomal abnormalties
  • Diabetes
  • Ectopic pregnancy
  • Pre-mature birth

When having a child at a older age you have a higher risk of chromosomal abnormalities in the child and a higher risk of conditions such as down syndrome. Sadly at the age of 40 statistics shows 1 in 100 children will be born with the condition.
