Who is Sir Isaac Newton?

• Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist and mathematician.
• Newton was born on Christams day 1642. His childhood
• was anything but happy. Throughout his life he verged on
• emotional collapse, occassionally violently attacking friend and
• foe alike. In June 1661 he left Woolsthorpe to attend Cambridge University.

WHO IS SIR ISAAC NEWTON?

• In 1665 Newton took his Bachelor's degree at Cambridge.
• In 1678 Newton suffered a serious emotional breakdown,
• and in the following year his mother died.
• In response Newton made no contact with the world and
• engrossed himself in his studies. Right up until his death on March 20, 1727 he studied his work.
