PRESENTATION OUTLINE
ONE DAY, OUTSIDE THE ANCIENT CITY OF THEBES
A SAD YOUNG CREATURE WAS CRYING
"WHY ARE YOU CRYING YOUNG CREATURE?" ASKED A PASSING TRAVELER.
"I'M LOST AND I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET HOME," SAID THE CREATURE.
"WHERE ARE YOUR PARENTS?" ASKS THE TRAVELER.
"I DON'T KNOW. WE WERE JUST FLYING OVER THE CITY AND I SAW SOMETHING SHINY ON THE GROUND, SO I FLEW DOWN TO SEE WHAT IT WAS. BUT WHEN I GOT THERE
"MHMM, I SEE. WELL MY NAME IS OEDIPUS AND WOULD LOVE TO HELP YOU FIND YOU PARENTS," SAID THE OEDIPUS. "REALLY O THANK YOU MR. OEDIPUS!" SHOUTED THE SPHINX.
"MY NAME IS SPHINX. MY PARENTS TOLD ME IF I EVER GET LOST TO SOLVE TWO RIDDLES AND I WOULD APPEAR AT HOME,"
"THE FIRST GOES LIKE THIS: WHAT WALKS ON FOUR LEGS IN THE MORNING, ON TWO LEGS AT NOON, AND ON THREE LEGS IN THE EVENING?" SAID SPHINX. "O THAT IS A TOUGH
"HMMM, LETS SEE.....I'VE GOT IT! THE ANSWER IS "A HUMAN," SAID OEDIPUS. "WHAT A HUMAN, HOW?" ASKED SHPINX.
"COOL, ONE MORE NOW. THE SECOND IS: THERE ARE TWO SISTERS: ONE GIVES BIRTH TO THE OTHER AND SHE, IN TURN, GIVES BIRTH TO THE FIRST. WHO
"THANK YOU MR. OEDIPUS, FOR HELPING ME GET HOME," SAID SHPINX TO OEDIPUS. "YOUR VERY WELCOME. BUT FROM NOW DON'T, RUN OFF WITHOUT YOUR PARENTS KNOWING," SAID OEDIPUS.
