GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

  • Southwestern of Europe
  • Bordering the Mediterranean sea
  • North Atlantic ocean
  • Southwest of France
  • West with Portugal

CLIMATE

  • Spain's climate is less temperate than the rest of Europe
  • The north and northwest of the country mild and wet condition prevall
  • In land Spain has hot summers with little rainfall while the winters there are cold
  • The southern part of Spain is warm and dry year round
  • Snowfall in Spain is infrequent except in the mountains

Landscape
Large , flat surrounded by rugged hills, Pyrenees mountains in north.A large coast.

TRADITIONAL DISHES

  • Food is as integral to Spain as its rich history with each of Spain's regions home to a range of unique cuisines and flavours

PAELLA

  • The traditional version is a mixture of chicken or rabbit ,white and green beans and other vegetables, but mixed seafood is also common.(calamari,mussels,clams)

Ingredients: octopus,paprika,and olive oil served with potatoes

SPANISH OMELET

  • Meal for breakfast lunch or dinner
  • Spanish dish consisting of an egg omelette made with added potatoes and fried in vegetable oil.

GAZPACHO

  • Gazpacho is a soup made of raw vegetables and served cold, usually with a tomato base, originating in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia.
