Summary
In this miracle story, Jesus is walking through a large crowd when he is approached by a leper. In that time period, lepers were seen as disgusting. Because of this, no one thought Jesus would get close to him. However, Jesus proves them all wrong. Not only does he get close to him, Jesus touches the leper. To the leper's and everyone else's surprise, the leper is instantly healed. The leper thanks and praises Jesus.

The Cleansing of a Leper.
1 When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.
2And then a leper* approached, did him homage, and said, “Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.”
3He stretched out his hand, touched him, and said, “I will do it. Be made clean.” His leprosy was cleansed immediately.
4* Then Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one, but go show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses prescribed; that will be proof for them.”
