• Tupac was born on June 16, 1971
• His mother Afeni Shakur named him Lesane Parish Crooks.
• Tupac was named after Tùpac Amaru an 18th century South American revolutionary.
• He Was born in New York City, New York
• Moved to Oklahoma City them to Compton, California were he stayed from there

WHY HE STARTED RAPPING

• Tupac wanted to write about things that affected young black males.
• Tupac talked about real things that was actually going on in life .
• He felt what was happening in the world needed a change .
• He didn't like the way the world was going to end up & how society was messed up

THE START OF TUPACS CARRER

• Started rapping at age 17
• Tupacs first underground song was "same song".
• Tupacs first "hit song" was "Brenda's got a baby".
• He was an actor, poet & rapper
• Started in a few movies one of the biggest one he played in was "Poetic Justice

JOINING DEATH ROW

• Joined a rapping production named "Death Row"
• Stayed in the group till he was laid to rest
• Was in the group for 6 years
• He became one of the best rappers along with the rest of the group
• Was working with Dr. dre & Snoop Dogg & a lot of other rappers

On August 22, 1992, in Marin City, Shakur performed at an outdoor festival, and stayed for an hour afterwards signing autographs and pictures and he was shot multiple times in the chest area but was not pronounced dead & lived

TUPACS DEATH

• Was shot multiple times in a drive by shooting
• Was shot November 17th in Las Vegas, Nevada
• Died 6 days after the shooting in Southern Nevada
