What is sewing?

Sewing is a craft where you stitch fabrics together. Sewing can be done by hand or with a sewing machine.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF SEWING MACHINES?

Mechanical sewing machine- Is not powered by electricity and it's the most basic sewing machine.

Electronic sewing machine- They are powered by a motor and operated by a foot pedal.

Computerized sewing machine- They feature an abundance of stitch functions and there is a touch pad.

HOW DO YOU SEW?

The first thing you need to do when you sew is thread the sewing machine. Then you turn on the machine and select the stitch and fabric.

Now you place your fabric under the presser foot and line it up with the seam allowance.

line up the fabric under the needle where you want to begin stitching

lower the presser foot lever to hold the fabric in place and begin to sew
