  • Because of overflow, her and 38 women helped

Positive Effects

  • Nursing became a profession
  • Saved 40.5% of citizens lives
  • Woman were finally recognized

Negative effects

  • Being sexist was a big issue
  • Her parents did not approve
  • She was denied of her work
  • Everyone had something to say
