  • Frenum:tether holding down front of tongue
  • Hyoid Bone:tongue anchored from back of mouth

DISEASE OF THE TONGUE

  • Thrush:a yeast grows over the surface of the tongue
  • Canker Sores:small painful ulcers on the tongue
