CHRIST'S MINISTRY BEGINS IN CAPERNAUM

• Jesus' first message calls us to feel sorry for our sins & repent
• He also calls us to turn away from sin and sin no more
• The second part of Jesus' message tells us why we should do this
• God's power is taking hold of the world
• His presence is active in love, forgiveness, healing, and compassion.

THE KINGDOM IS OPEN TO ALL

• The kingdom is open to sinners, but they must repent
• If sinners repent there will be great rejoicing in heaven
• Jesus loves sinners so much that he sacrificed himself for their sins
