A chin flick means "I don't know", always shake hands, kiss twice family and friends, good posture and feet on the floor.
Men and women wear ponchos of a light color, women can also wear a shawl or rebozo.

Sopa Paraguaya es similar to the American food corn bread and means Paraguayan Soup.
Normally served with soups and grilled meats or at breakfast.

The international mercado de literatura has been constrained until recently due to poverty and limited education.
Paraguay has a unique style of music which has dominated for a hundred years.
The Paraguayan polka is similar to the American square dance.

Painting by Olga Blinder (1921-2008) called Nanduti III made in 1961. Depicts three woman making Nanduti, a type of Paraguayan lace.
