ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Founding fathers didn't think that people were smart enough to vote for themselves
They came up with the electoral college, a system made up from electoral votes---
Votes varied from amount of senators and representatives in that state

There wasn't any specific factions that came into conflict with each other
It was mostly like the elite, or higher in the society people that wanted the electoral college---
Because they thought that people as a whole are not very intelligent
