PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Altitude- the distance above sea level
Barometer- an instrument that measures air pressure in the atmosphere.
Cell- the smallest unit that is able to perform the basic function in the life.
Dew point- the temperature at which air with a given amount of water vapor will reach saturation.
Electromagnetism- magnetism that result from the flow of electric charge.
Force- a push of a pull; something that charges the motion of an object.
Germination- the beginning of growth of a new plant from a spore or a seed.
Hail- layered lumps or balls of ice that fall from cumulonimbus clouds.
Inclined plane- a simple machine that is a sloping surface, such as a ramp.
Jet stream- a wind that flows in the upper troposphere from west to east over vast distance at great speeds.
Kinetic energy- the energy of motion moving object has the most kinetic energy at the point where it moves the fastest.
Lever- a solid bar that rotates, or turns, around a fixed point point; one of the six simple machines.
Mass- a measure of how much matter an object is made of.
Newton- It is equal to the force that would give a mass of one kilogram an acceleration of one meter per second per second, and is equivalent to 100,000 dynes.
Organism-an individual living thing made up of one or many cells, that is capable of growing and reproduction.
Predator- an animal that hunts other animals and eats them.
Qualitative- relating to,measuring, or measured Loy the quality of something rather than its quantity.
Radiation- energy that travels across distance in the form electromagnetic waves.
Spore- a single reproduction cell that can grow into a multicellular organism.
Taxonomy- the science of classifying and naming organism.
Ultraviolet radiation- radiation of higher frequencies then visible light, which can cause sun burn and other typeface of damages.
Volume- an amount of three-dimensional space, often used to describe the space that an object takes up.
Work- the use of force to move an object over a distant.
X-axis- the independent variable
Y-axis- manipulated variable.
Zebra-an African wild horse with black-and-white stripes and an erect mane.
