PRESENTATION OUTLINE
These biomes are located around the world on many different continents
THE AVERAGE RAIN FALL PER MONTH
- The month that has the most rain is July
SOME ABIOTIC FACTORS
- Generally warm year round
- Alternating wet and dry season
- Rich soils subject to erosion
Adaptions
Trees lose their leaves during the dry season In order to conserve water
Frogs and insects burrow themselves in mud and sleep which slows metabolism and need for water
Birds and monkeys find seam beds which produce enough moisture to enable them to survive dry seasons
ENDANGERED
THE OCELOT : is an endangered species which is found in the tropical to subtropical dry forests because of their beautiful coats they have been hunted to almost extinction but have recently moves into the "less concern" of the endangered species.
Mans impact
Mans impact on this biome can cause a huge disaster just like in any other biome. If man hunted and killed the ocelots the rabbit population would have boomed and the vegetation would have plummeted causing a Snowball effect
