HENRY SURTEES

• Was an upcoming racing driver
• Son of John Surtees, a champion on 2 and 4 wheels
• Was killed, aged 18, by a loose wheel from a competitor's car
• Not long after accident, John Surtees set up foundation in his honour

THE CHARITY'S AIMS

• Assist people with brain or physical injuries
• Educate people in road safety, engineering and technology
• Provide assistance and advice to under 18s to help them develop their skills
• Work with the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance service
• Generally improve the quality of life for people with brain traumas

HOW THEY RAISE MONEY

• Charity kart races including an all-star race
• Entrants for all-star race have included F1 test drivers
• Working with teams in F1 feeder series'
• An online store of John Surtees merchandise
• Store also includes official caps, polo shirts and fleeces
