The Civil War

The Union had 2.9 million people but only 1.5 million enlisted for 3 years.

The Union had 630,000 casualties, but 360,000 died the rest were wounded.

The Union tried to use their navy to block the Confederacy from selling cotton.

The Union also used the blockaid to stop other countries from selling guns to the confederacy.

The Union tried to call for three simultaneous overland assaults on the confederacy.

The confederacy had 1.2 million people serve in the war.
