  • Belief: similar belief as Locke but thought gov. Was suppose to protect the peoples wills
  • Contribution: the gov. gets their power from the people.
  • It is still used today.

  • Belief: focused on the governmental org. by promoting the idea of separation of power & check balance.
  • Contribution: 3 branches of government= legislative, judicial, executive branches.
  • Work still used today.
