PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Crust
We used brown construction paper, because the crust (where we are) is like ground and dirt. And if you look inside the model, you will see little minerals and rocks that we drew on the paper.
Mantle
We used aluminum foil, for the mantle, because it was easy to shape into a thick object (since the mantle is so thick). Than, since the mantle is made out of lava, magma, and things like that, we colored it a lava-ish color.
Outer Core.
So for the outer core, we knew that it was made out of liquid iron and nickel. So we decided to take a piece of white construction paper and made it and liquid type color, with nickel color, and iron color with that.
Inner core
We used aluminum foil for the inner core as an example to a medal, since the inner core was made out of metals and solid.
