MY TRIP TO CANADA

THE FLIGHT

• We woke up at 4:00am
• Our first flight was Adelaide to Sydney and took 2 hours
• Our next flight was Sydney to Vancouver and took 16 hours
• 2 + 16 =18 hours all together

HOTEL AND DRIVE

• When we got off the plane my grampa was waiting for us
• We drove to the hotel he stayed in the night before
• We had a swim in the hotel pool
• We drove to kelowna which took 4 hours

KELOWNA

• Some things I did in kelowna were:
• Had a sleepover with my cousin
• Watch my cousin play soccer (they won!)
• Go shopping
• Got hair extensions

WEDDING PART 1

• We flew to Vancouver and then flew to Toronto
• We drove to the hotel and had a swim and had lunch
• The next day we had a wedding rehearsal

WEDDING PART 2

• We went to the wedding in a limo
• I did a reading
• We went to the ballroom to have dinner
• We danced and went in the photo booth
• We drove back to the hotel in a limo

APPLE PICKING

• We drove to my uncles house the day after the wedding
• The next day we went to Chudleighs farm. We picked lots of apples.
• There was a petting zoo, pony rides, tractor rides, a playground, and more
• My favourite part was picking the apples. We picked red delicious.
• We learned how to pick apples so it doesn't damage the tree.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS

• Later that day, we celebrated Finn's and my birthdays
• We had a rainbow cake for me and a Captain America cake for Finn
• Finn's decorations were all super heroes and avengers and mine were rainbow
• We had ice cream cake from dairy queen

AQUARIUM

• The next day we went to the aquarium
• We saw jellyfish, sharks, fish, sea stars, crabs, stingrays, and more
• There were glass tunnels that kids could crawl through and outside of the tunnels were sharks.
• We could pet stingrays, horseshoe crabs, and a kind of shark.
• My favourite bit was when we went in a glass room and saw sharks and fish swim over us

THANKSGIVING DINNER

• For thanksgiving dinner we went to a buffet
• Thanksgiving is a holiday that Canadians celebrate
• Its for being thankful to your family
• It used to be to give thanks for the harvast

EDMONTON

• We flew to Edmonton and the flight took 3 hours
• We went to Edmonton mall and went ice skating
• We drove to uncle Bill's house
• After that we drove to auntie Lana's house to have dinner
• When we finished dinner we drove to auntie Shelley's house

FAMILY DAYS

• We went to grandma and grampa the greats house for lunch
• We went back home and had a rest
• We went back to their house for dinner with my aunties, uncles and cousins

PLAYING ON THE HILL

• We slid down the hill out front on cardboard
• We played in the leaves
• We rolled down the hill

CORN MAZE

• We went to a corn maze on sunday
• Its a maze but the walls are corn stalks
• It also had a jumping pillow, go cars, animals and more
• You had clues to help you get throught the maze

HOW TO MAKE S'MORES

• Buy marshmellows,cookies or graham crackers,and chocolate
• Get a campfire ready and wait for the flames to burn so there is hot coals
• Roast your marshmellow on the fire
• Put your marshmellow with the chocolate and put in between the cookies
• Eat!!!!!!

GALEXY LAND

• We went to an amusement park called Galexy land
• They had roller coasters, and lots of other rides
• My favourite ride was the galexy orbiter

KELOWNA

• We flew back to Kelowna, and the flight took 1hour
• We drove back to my grampas house
• We had dinner and dessert
• We went to bed

ENERGY PLEX

• For my birthday celebration we went to energy plex
• It had trampolines, rock climbing, lazer tag, a big foam pit and more
• I did lazer tag and rock climbing as well
• We came back to grampas house and had cookies and cream icecream cake
• I opened my presents

AUNTIE JANICE

• On sunday we picked up auntie janice at the airport
• She came to stay for 4 days
• The day that we picked auntie I made a 3D puzzle
• It was the Empire State Building
• Tay made the Eiffel Tower

SCHOOL

• On tuesday I went to my friends class
• Some different things were:
• They had lunch before recess
• They didn't have school uniforms
• They could wear their hair down

PUMKIN CARVING

• The day before Halloween we got some pumpkins and carved them
• We had special tools and idea books
• I carved the face of a vampire
• We roasted the pumpkin seeds and ate them
• We lit the pumpkins

TRICK OR TREATING

• We got ready and went for pizza at my cousins house
• Then we went out trick or treating
• Everyone dresses up and decorates their houses
• We went to about 5 or 6 blocks
• At about 8:30 we went home and traded candy

GOODBYE PARTY

• We invited everyone over for dinner so we could say goodbye
• We had KFC for dinner
• We played with our cousins and friends
• We took photos
• And said bye

VANCOUVER

• The next day we drove to Vancouver
• It was a 4 hour drive
• We stayed in a hotel for 1 night
• The next day we visited our friends Brook and Sydney
• We drove to the airport

FLIGHT

• We flew to Sydney which was a 13hr flight
• We flew to Adelaide which was a 2hr flight
• My dad picked us up
• We went to bed early cause we had to go to the christmas pageant the next
