Eid Al-Fitr: celebrated after a month of fasting.
Eid Al-Adha: sacrificing an animal and sharing it with family and friends.

Fasting: not eating for a certain period of time.
Animal sacrifices: Killing an animal for ritual/religious purpose.
Purification: cleansing themselves before ritual/religious purpose.
Pilgrimage: physical and mental religious journey.
There are a lot of different divisions of the Islamic religion.

The Quran began with relevations to Muhammad when he was 40 years old.(610)
Rise of islam began around time that Muslims took flight in the Hijra.
In 630, Muslims conquered Mecca.

The Yayoi culture is directly related to the Shinto.
There are a few shrines in Shinto
For example: Ichinomiya and jingu
Most of the shrines are in Kyoto

They believe in "Kami"- sacred or divine beings.
There are a lot of different "Kami's" which are based off things like nature.
Purification rites called Harae are a vital part of Shinto.
They believe that there is an afterlife. A place called "Yomi"
"Yomi" is a gloomy underground realm that separates the living from the dead.
