VALENCIA, SPAIN

On the first day March 15 ninots ( giant figures ) must be finished or face disqualification. Also they begin to have play music throughout the city.

LAS FALLAS

• Is a festival celebrated from March 14-19.
• Los ninots are gigantic figures that are displayed throughout the city.
• Women dress in Las Falleras which are outfits that include laced dresses, veils,and jewelry.
• The los ninots are made of cardboard, wood, and plaster.

Each day firecrackers can be heard. People fill the city at 2:00 p. m. The people hold pageants and play music. And each night ends with a explosion of fireworks.

On the final evening of Las Fallas at 7:00 p. m. On March 19, a parade takes place in the square. They have a non fire and burn down the ninots.
