PROTISTS

  • Protists are unicellular organisms that dont belong in another kingdom
  • Protists can be both heterotrophic and autotrophic
  • Most of them live in water
  • They are all eukaryotic

HOW TO TELL

  • The first thing you look for in a protist is a multicellular structure
  • Also if the organisms has no nucleus it is not a protist
  • Most protists are micro sized not including a small few

  • Amoeba proteus
  • Paramecium aurelia
  • Pediastrum boryanum

FUNGI

  • Fungi are heterotrophic
  • Fungi absorb their food
  • They are eukaryotic

  • Anything that doest reproduce by spores
  • Fungi are heterotrophic so anything autotrophic

  • Moss
  • Rust
  • Mold
  • Mushroom
