WHY 16'S ARE NOT READY

18 is the age of responsibility and maturity. The 26th Amendment was used to prove that 18 year olds could vote.

REASONS WHY

  • Immaturity
  • Not interested
  • Uneducated
  • Hypothetical

16 year olds are still at the age of development, and are not fully prepared for important decisions. Also , they're still reliant on their parents to take care of them.So that doesn't prepare their readiness for adulthood.

I believe that 16 year olds didn't learn much about politics yet , and that they don't really pay attention to important events like an election.

And often , 16 year olds don't really care about things happening to them , or others , so in conclusion,I don't know if this would be a smart choice of law.
