History Of Carrie Underwoods Music Career

: Carrie Underwood was born on March 10, 1983, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Ever since she was a little kid she always wanted to become a famous singer. She would always attend Talent shows and win. When Carrie Underwood attended college she went to Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Because of her going to college she put aside singing and got her degree on Broadcast Journalism. In the year 2004 when she was a senior in college she went onto American Idol, and won in the fourth season. After winning American Idol her first album came out " Some Hearts " in 2005 and it was a " Triple Platinum ". Her first album was the fastest selling album for a country female singer. In 2007 her single " Before He Cheats " had her win the CMA Awards, and the Grammies. Also in 2007 Carrie Underwood second album reached the top #1 albums for a female country singer. The name of the album was " carnival ride ". At the age of 26 on May, 10 , 2008 Carrie Underwood was taken in to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. In the year 2009 For the past three years Carrie Underwood received her fourth Grammy on the song called " Last Name ". She was also given two more CMA Awards. In May of 2012 she sold 1.4 million copies of her single " Blown Away ". Carrie Underwood was told she would be singing the " Saturday Night Football " theme song on May of 2013. In 2014 she won her fifth Grammy for " Best Solo Performance ".
