EBOLA IS USUALY FOUND IN AFRICA

  • This virus tends to inhabit central and Western Africa
  • Nzarra, Sudan, Yambuku, democratic republic of the Congo
  • However can also be found in the Philipenese

THE SYMPOTMS

  • Bleeding from the nose, mouth, rectum, eyes and ears
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Diarrhea (may be bloody
  • Red eyes,Stomach pain, Severe weight loss
  • Raised rash,Chest pain and coug

HOW IT SPREADS

  • This virus multiplies through contact with the blood
  • First infected fruit bats but now attacks humans

THIS DISEASE IS A VIRUS

WHICH MEANS THAT THERE NOTHING THAT CAN STOP IT ONCD ITS IN.

WHAT CAN WE DO TO PROTECT OURSELVES?

  • Ebola kills over 90% of infecties
  • Sadly the best way to defend your self is to get lucky
  • There is no cure or vaccine for Ebola.

EBOLA IS SPREADING

  • Recently in Guinean there has been a outbreak
  • Since January there have been 70 deaths from the 122 casses

IT IS SPREADING

  • There have been two more confirmed deaths in Libya
  • Where will it go next?

ATTACK VECTORS

  • Ebola has been know to spread through the fruit bat
  • This dis ease can also spread through certain primates.
