TATTLING

NOBODY LIKES A TATTLE TALE

WHAT IS TATTLING

  • Trying to get someone else in trouble
  • Usually a problem you can solve by yourself

EXAMPLES OF TATTLING

  • "Mr.Huseby, Micheal is chewing gum"
  • "Mrs.Foster, Sally is using my chair."
  • "Mr.Coumont, John is out of his desk."

WHAT IS TELING?

  • Telling a teacher when someone is hurt or injured
  • This is very important and needs to happen
  • This must be done immediately

EXAMPLES OF TELLING

  • "Mr.Huseby, Matt fell off the swings and hurt his leg."
  • "Mr.Coumont, Tim keeps on throwing me on the ground and I hurt my shoulder.
  • "Mrs.Cote, Sam keeps on saying mean things to me about my family.

HOW DO I STOP?

  • 3 second rule
  • Wait three seconds before you say your teacher's name
  • If its a tattle then don't say anything
  • If you are telling then tell them what you need to say.
