THE BOSTON MASSACRE

~Causes~
The British sent over troops to Boston. When the troops got there they were loud and rowdy, that made the colonists mad.

~Effects~
Colonists taunted the British soldIers and that leaded the soldiers to fire their muskets at the Americans. Five died.

THE BOSTON TEA PARTY

1773

~Cause~
The British forced the colonists to buy their tea. The British made all of the other tea company's much more higher in price, so the colonists had to buy their tea.

~Effect~
The colonists were outraged that they had to pay for British tea. The colonists decided to dump 90,000 pounds of tea off the ship.

THE INTOLERABLE ACTS

~Causes~
After the Boston Tea Party the British made new strict laws. The colonists couldn't tolerate the harsh laws.
