Methylphenidate is a stimulant.
It affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control.

Methylphenidate is mainly used to treat attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and narcolepsy.

How obtained:
When It is abused, it can either be injected, snorted, or used in pill form without a prescription.
Normally used to help people stay up and work without distraction.
Psychiatrists can prescribe the medication for people who need it.

Affects on the body: (illegally)
The short term effects involve taking the body's natural functions and taking them up a notch. Your heart rate increases and your blood pressure.
It allows you to process information faster, dramatically reduces physical and mental fatigues.

Affects on the body:(legally)
This drug helps people with ADD and ADHD by claiming their nervous systems and helping them focus and pay attention to what is happening.

Side effects:
Headache, nausea, loss of appetite, paranoia, anxiety, euphoria, dilated eyes, kidney failure, death, etc.

Conclusion:
To takeMethylphenidate as prescribed, it is good, but otherwise the side effects are too dangerous.
