THE mARKS OF THE CHURCH

• We believe there are four signs, or marks that the Church can be recognized by
• They are found in the Nicene Creed: "I believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church."

THE CHURCH IS ONE

• Teaches the same doctrines
• Founded by Jesus Christ
• She has a life of the Holy Spirit
• And is one in her faith, sacraments, and pastors

HOLY

• Jesus is her founder and he is the source of all holiness
• The sanctification and salvation of all the members of the Church makes her holy
• She has the tools to make members of her church holy
• The sacraments lead to holiness
