Circe tells Odysseus of what to do with the monsters. Odysseus and his men are leaving Circe's island. The get past the sirens with the curious Odysseus tied to the mast and wax in the men's ears. Once they get past the Sirens, the 6 headed monster Scylla takes 6 of Odysseus' best men. They make it past Charybdis. A strong wind comes up and the men take shelter on an island. On the island are the sacred sheep and cows of Lord Helios. The men don't eat the creatures for 6 days, starving the entire time. On the 7th day, while Odysseus is sleeping, they take the best cows and sheep, feasting on them. Helios is outraged and goes to Zeus. When the men sat out to sea, Zeus strikes their ship with a lightning bolt killing everyone except Odysseus. He lands on Calypso's island.
