• Before it was established, the coast guard and the army corps fostered it

BIOGRAPHY

• He was born on April 30, 1971
• He was from Charlotte North Carolina
• He attended East Charlotte high school
• He served as mayor as his previous job

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Make driving safer
• Participate in national projects
• Research and report environment troubles
• Establish and maintain a working relationship with agencies
• Test cars for safety regulations

AGENCIES

• There are about 13agencies
• The FAA, the NHTSA,and the FHWA are examples of agencies
• The main agency is the office of the secratairy (OTS)
