This Subway commercial uses 2 famous athletes (Robert Griffin III and Justin Tuck) are used to try to make people who want to be like them eat their product. The speakers are the two athletes but the company is the main one who wants to get to the people who want to be athletic and fit. The overall purpose of the ad was to reach out to people to buy the product of Subway and influence them with big strong athletes.

SLOGAN

This slogan by Nationwide Insurance is used in every one of their advertisements and is widely known, which is one of the main reasons to their success. In their advertisements, they try to reach out to the middle-class that needs to save money. The speaker for these ads is just a paid professional speaker. The overall purpose of their ads are to get their company known and to have people buy their insurance.

This ad uses the technique of name calling to show the audience who they should vote for. It is targeted for the people who are more involved in the community. The over all purpose of the ad is to turn people against Greg Abbott and in turn look at Wendy Davis in a more positive light.
