They arefound along the east coast of North and Central America in freshwater lakes and as far west as Kansas and Texas and southern New Mexico.

IN CLEAR LOW RIFFLED WATER, AND MAN MADE WATER AREAS.

Average size of a long-nose gar is 6ft and 6in.
They're also endangered fish.

Best way to catch a long nose gar is to use a bow and arrow with a rope attached. As well as using a nylon rope bait.
