Country Divided

• Our country has been divided for its life
• From Patriot or loyalist to Strong or weak Gov. & Slave or free
• Our country is like to brothers that just always fight

Patriot Vs Loyalist

• Loyalist: Great Britain
• High Taxes King George the 3rd
• Patriots: USA
• Low Taxes Freedom

Patriots

• The Patriots were a part of the new world
• They wanted low taxes and freedom
• They were colonists

Loyalist

• Were part of Great Britain
• Were ok with high taxes
• Loved King George the 3rd

Strong Or Weak Gov.

• Articles Of Confederation were weak and ineffective
• The Constitution was strong
• Any state with slaves had the 3/5ths compromise
• which meant each slave is counted as 3/5ths of a person
• And any state with no slaves, everyone had a regular vote

Slave Vs Free

• At 1 time in our country there were the north and the south
• Both Fighting over the West
• They wanted it because who ever had the west practically had most power
• The North was free
• The South was slave/ What the solution was is that they reconstructed the amendments

Free

• The People in the North were free
• The North was urban and had cities and a lot of jobs so no slavery
• They wanted the West so they could enforce no slavery

Slave

• Were in the South 
• Was Rural lots of farms and not a lot of businesses 
• So there had to be more slavery 
• They wanted the South so there couod be more slavery

In Conclusion

• Our Country has been divided for its whole life
• Even in the modern day right now
• Democrat Vs Republican 
• But that how its gonna be for the rest of the US's life
• Its OK because even the best families fight :)
