- Cthulhu was a 500 foot tall demon
- He had dragon wings
- He had a humanoid body with finned fingers and toes like a mermaid
- Head looks as if his head were an entire octopus
- Face looks like Davy Jones' tentacle beard, except, not a beard, a mouth like a squid.
Cthulhu's Origin
Cthulhu came originally from a popular horror novel writer known as H.P Lovecraft. His novel was titled: The Call of Cthulhu, giving us the look of a giant demon sea monster living in a sunken city in the middle of the Pacific Ocean called R'leyh(Ri-leh). After his book was published and people started to read his novel, they claimed the beast to be real. Strange sightings and events lead to more belief in this urban legend such as large tentacles in the water, strange wave patterns as if someone were walking through it, thumps detected underwater in the sound of walking, and sometimes sudden or strange shaped tsunamis or tidal waves, all near the city of R'leyh.
Cthulhu's Voice
The strangest and most unexplained event in the history of the world is one that comes from Cthulhu, known as: "The Bloop". The Bloop may have a funny name, but was one of the scariest, strangest events in the history of Earth. The Bloop was a huge sound recorded in 1989, about 5 miles out from where H.P Lovecraft stated where R'leyh is, and was lower and louder than anything else. The sound was low enough to shake the water when made, and the sound was picked up by two underwater microphones designed to detect nuclear submarines during the Cold War, but these two picked up Cthulhu. You may be thinking: "a lot of things could have made that noise", and you're right, but the strangest part about the Bloop, was both microphones picked up the song even though they were 3,000 miles away from each other. This sound was lower than anything else Nd stretched 3,000 miles, and that is The Bloop.
Cthulhu Today
Cthulhu today is worshipped by cultists, or people who worship the devil, the darkness and all evil, summoning them to perform dark deeds. Cthulhu, some say is still awake from the Bloop and was summoned by cultists to do something, and he is still out there looking for his summoners. Other strange things happen at R'lyeh, such as sailing through it causing at least one passenger to speak in strange blabbers and the only understandable word: Cthulhu, while continuing to draw strange hieroglyphs and symbols seeming as Cthulhu being worshipped by the whole world or major destruction by Cthulhu.
