NEWTON'S FIRST LAW
An object at rest stays at rest an object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by an outside force.

EXAMPLES

• Sliding a book on the floor vs on the ice
• Pushing a box
• Bouncing a ball

NEWTON'S SECOND LAW
The force acting on an object equals the objects mass times its acceleration.

EXAMPLES

• Pushing a car
• Putting a golf ball on the ground vs. into back of a truck
• Soccerball and basketball dropped from a building

NEWTON'S THIRD LAW
For every action there is and equal and opposite reaction.

EXAMPLES

• Stepping on a scateboard
• Jumping off a diving board
• Throwing a bouncie ball
