Endeavor was the only spacecraft to be named after a kid. In 1988 a competition was held and president George W. Bush proclaimed the winner "Endeavor". Which is named after captain Cook's ship.
The Endeavor was the first shuttle to use a drag chute to land.
The Endeavor had a flawless lift off and was doing so good that the mission was expanded by two days on May 7, 1992.
Endeavor saved the Hubble Space Telescope after they reliezed that the lense was 1/100 of an inch off.
