Japan is a big island country where slant eye people live in.

Clothes
Japanese traditional clothes are
"kimonos". They wear kimonos at specials days or weddings. Kimono is
a cotton cloth which has large hand part. It is long and relaxing. It is like a dress. You tie a black piece of fabric like a belt. In the kimonos they use usually red and green colors.

Foods
Japan's most famous food type is fish-sushi and noodle soup. When they eat pasta and sushi , they eat with chopsticks. Chinese people eat with chopsticks too. Rice is also an important food in Japan . They serve it in a bowl. They sometimes eat rice and soup for breakfast. They don't use menu in the restaurants; they use plastic foods to order what they want to eat.

Sports
There are so many traditional sports in Japan. I am going it tell you about the three of them. They are Su-mo, Aikido and Kyu-do. They usually do their sports in white clothes.

Aikido: In Aikido, they practice grabbing and twisting opponent joints or breaking opponent balance. They do this sport in white, large clothes.
Kyu-do: In this sport, sportsmen who wear white clothes throw arrows to a target board.
Su-mo: In Su-mo, two men wearing a loin cloth looks like a swim suit fight in a circle. The men are usually fat.

Plants
In Japan, there are not so many plants. They grow cereals like rice and wheat; fruits like watermelon, orange and pear. Their most popular plant is "bamboo". Bamboo is long and thin. It is one of the fastest growing plants in the world. In Japan, there are some big bamboo forests. They are a food source for pandas. People also use bamboo to make houses,roofs...

Animals
In Japan, there are so many animals. I am going to tell you about the most interesting Animals/ types.


İnsects: Japan has 300 kinds of butterfly around. There are around 190 dragon flys around too.
Mammals: There are many mammals that live in Japan.
Red crowned crane: These kind of birds live in Hokkaido, Japan. It’s one of the rearest crane in in the world.
Giant hornet: Giant hornet is the biggest bee in the world. It can be all black or striped like a normal bee.

Hiroshima Peace Memorial:
Hiroshima Peace Memorial is a cultural place for Japanese. It is the only building that was left from the atomic bomb that destroyed Hiroshima . It is a very old and a very strong building.

Jigokudani Monkey Park:
It is a hot spring area near Nagano. Wild snow monkeys come there when snow covers the park. The monkeys are famous. People come to the park to see the red faced cute monkeys.

Himeji Castle
Himeji Castle is a beautiful, big palace. It is rebuilted many times. It is a very big and famous palace. This is a good example of Japanese architecture. I think that it is a super cool palace.

Great Buddha of Kamakura:
This is the one of the most celebrated Budist figurines in Japan. It is made of bronze. It is 93 tons. It is sooo heavy!!

Golden Pavilion:
This bulding is all made of gold. It has a big pond around. It is one of the most interesting places that tourists visit.
