one crust pie

  • the filling in a one crust pie is added after baking and flute the edges
  • you take a fork a bent the edges of the crust over the edge of the baking form
  • you prick the bottom and the sides of the pie to prevent blistering during baking
  • DO NOT prick the bottom of the pie if you want to fill it!
