  • Edivation training perioically during 2-1-2 days

Behavior Tracking Form

  • 3 levels to track
  • Suggestions for correction of student behavior
  • Communication with parents section with signature
  • Provide feedback with the type you like by this Friday
  • Rollout with form by next Monday

Level 1 Minor Infraction

  • Talking out of turn
  • Teasing / pestering peer
  • Pushing in line
  • Play Fighting
  • Foul Language (non directed)
  • Off task / chatty
  • Out of desk

Level 1 Corrective Action

  • Verbal Warning
  • Time Out with reflection piece
  • Portion of recess cut
  • Apology letter

LEVEL 2 Moderate Infraction

  • Slapping or fighting resulting in minor injuries
  • Writing on desks, walls or play equipment
  • Stealing items from peers or teacher (depends upon value and truthfulness when caught)
  • Profanity towards a peer

Level 2 Corrective Action

  • Call home to parents by teacher
  • Full recess detention with reflection piece
  • Apology letter signed by parent and teacher
  • Removal from class with work to buddy teacher (always call parents to deliver news)

Level 3 Major Infraction

  • Fighting that results in serious injury i.e. black eye or bloody nose
  • Agressive behavior towards teacher
  • Profanity projected towards teacher
  • Refusal to comply and complete work after 3 attempted corrections
  • Secual Harrassment of any kind towards peers

Level 3 Corrective Action

  • Office Referral
  • Possible Suspension
  • ISS with work on Study Island
  • Enrollmeng in check in check out system for 30 school days

New Teacher Supports

  • ISS to library with Study Island 30-60-90 minute periods
  • Half and full day ISS with work
  • Check in check out with AP and or office staff

Teacher Supports Continued

  • PBIS on the playground with check slip and reflection time outs
  • High school volunteers to help with playground games especially soccer
  • High school big brothers and sisters for special cases
  • Office to direct calls to teacher voicemail to avoid interruptions by parents
