Rome was divided into 2 parts, the west and the east. These two parts were very different one was very advanced and the other was not.
Rome had lost almost all of its supporting people that still practiced the roman religion. This caused the gods to stop protecting the Roman Empire, and eventually Christianity took over.

Rome did not have a even distribution of land at all. Rome had too much land and could not take care of and protect all of it. Rome had to divide into the regions so it was easier to protect all the land. This caused unevenness in technology and other things so this caused Rome to fall
