Pla-zaow
Plaszow was built in December of 1942.
Plaszow was located in Krakow, Poland.
Plaszow started as a camp for polish prisoners in 1940.
Plaszow was a slave labor Camp.
Prisoners were force to do factory work which was one of the good jobs.

More than 80,000 people were killed.
They were moved to Auschwitz-Birkenau and put in gas chambers.
Hungarians, Czechoslovakians, Frenchman, Belgians, and Romanians
were all killed.
Prisoners were mainly sent to gas chambers.

Body's were buried in mass graves.
The bodies were later dug up and burned.

Amon Goeth was the leader of Plaszow.
Amon would sit from his porch and shoot Jews for fun.
After liberation the Nazis burned down most of the camp.
What remains of the camps buildings are now museums.
Many of the people that survived Plaszow died of malnutrition.
