FLORA
The Flora that grows there is fern and flowers.
Flora that grow in the alpine tundra have shallow roots.
The roots cannot grow deeper than 10 feet.
The ground doesn't thaw so the plants grow close to the ground.

POOR SOIL CONDITIONS
Flora grows slowly because there is very little carbon dioxide.
Plants do not decay fast enough creating poor soil.
Flora does not grow tall there.
