DIWALI

"THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT"

Diwali
Diwali is a Hindu festival of light. It's a time to celebrate good over evil. It even marks the beginning of a new year. They also exchange gifts and launches fireworks.

Diwali is celebrated in fall. Either in the months of October or November. When they celebrate Diwali the have large feasts and sweets. Normally, the night before Diwali, people decorate their homes. Before the big day.

VAISAKHI

"ONE OF THE LARGEST SIKH FESTIVAL"

Vaisakhi
Vaisakhi is one of the largest Sikh festival. It even marks the beginning of a sikh's year. On that day they have street parades,reading from the bible, and they go to church.

The word Vaisakhi is spelled "Baisakhi". Vaisakhi is celebrated all over the world. It's celebrated on either the 13th or the 14th of April. At the festival there is dancing, singing, and music.
