PRESENTATION OUTLINE
A body of a young woman is found in her apartment on the 9th floor of an apartment building in Boston. Crime Scene detectives arrive and find maggots concentrated in the head and chest region.

The Forensic Entomologist found the following at the scene:
no eggs
no empty pupa casings
1% pupa vs. 99% maggots (mostly in 3rd instar stage)

The windows have been closed but are not covered allowing for sunlight to come into the room. The air conditioner has been set to 72०F.
The local weather in Boston has been between 70 and 94 as it is the end of July. Most of the days have been sunny with little cloud cover and rain.
