  • job was at the Virginian
  • Electric and Power Co.
  • She made $1.75/hr

What did you do with your money?

  • She bought clothes and
  • shoes, she also gave an
  • amount to her parents
  • while living at home.

HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT MONEY?

  • From her parents, but
  • also the mistakes she
  • made along the way.

How did your children learn?

  • "My husband and I taught
  • our children to stay out
  • of debt, to pay their bills
  • on time and not to buy
  • anything they can't afford."
