WHY WAS IT CREATED?

• NYA created work training based on U.S. Citizenship and financial need for youth ages 16-25
• NYA operated two programs: the works project program and the student aid program

WHAT GROUPS OF PEOPLE DID IT AFFECT

• Helped youth 16-25 get jobs
• Created different programs to educate youth

• More than nine hundred educational and work facilities participated
• Hundreds of NYA projects evolved according to the facilities,funds

IS IT STILL AROUND TODAY?

• Yes the NYA still has it's same duties
• They still help youth with education and work
